BX.CULTURE INVITES: BROWNSUGVR for "BX.TAPE VOL.29" Brownsugvr is an Angolan-Brussels DJ, Producer, and Artistic Director whose musical evolution continues to surprise. Initially influenced by Afro-house and Amapiano, he now gravitates toward more impactful genres like Batida and Kuduro, which he transforms into unique sets through his mastery of turntables and FX effects. In 2023, Brownsugvr took a significant step forward in music production, with upcoming collaborations involving influential artists and labels. He has shared the stage with major names like DJ Maboku, DJ LAG, Shaka Lion, Mixbwé, positioning himself as a key player on the international scene. His performances have brought him to iconic venues in Portugal (HardClub, MusicBox, etc.) and Belgium, where he notably played after Pongo in Bruges. He has also made his mark on airwaves with appearances on Kiosk Radio, Oroko Radio, and Rinse Radio. Alongside his solo work, Brownsugvr founded Er808, a Batida-driven project, and co-founded the Brussels collective 3ave, blending electronic music with live performances in unique settings.
